Got a day to spare?

If your answer was ‘YES’ for at least one of the questions, you should take a look at my ‘ 1 Day Festivals in London’ . One of them might just be the quick fix you’ve been looking for! 😉

The cool indie one…

Bushstock Festival // Shepherds Bush // 18th June 2016

Mels Jukebox One Day Festival London Bushstock 2016 1 Day Festivals London

If you’re the one in your group of friend that raves about new acts way before everyone else, than Bushstock Festival is your cuppa tea!

Successfully running in its 6th year now, the one-day festival is opening its many doors again on 18th June in West London’s Shepherds Bush.

The impressive line-up has been carefully handpicked by the new music ambassadors over at Communion Music and let me tell you – their taste is impeccable!

With Bushstock being a multi-venue festival, it will not only give you the opportunity to see your new favourite act in unique places, like in a church or outdoors tucked away in a lovely courtyard, but also in rather small and intimate venues.

And it is no secret that the best gigs have happened in tiny little venues.

If this wasn’t enough to convince you, did I mention that Bushstock loves to surprise its punters with special surprise performances of amazing established acts?

Now better make sure to get your hands on a ticket as they are selling out fast!

The delightful folky one…

Citadel Festival // Victoria Park // 17th July

Mels Jukebox One Day Festival London Citadel Festival 2016 1 Day Festivals London

Bursting onto London’s festival scene in summer 2015, the quaint Citadel festival is back for another year at East London’s Victoria Park.

Taking a more calmer, relaxed approach to music festivals, Citadel’s line-up features a lot of Singer-Songwriters and easy listen music.

Discovering new music and falling in love with your future new obsessions is made easy at Citadel festival, as a lot of new up-and-coming acts have made its way onto the bill.

Apart from the musical side, Citadel has a wide range of activities on offer. Punters will be able to join DIY workshops and learn how to create a custom print (and take it home to hang in your room), braid necklaces or listen to panel talks covering different subjects.

If your idea of a chilled out Sunday at the park includes some mellow live music, Citadel festival is your match made in heaven!
